Canon Emirates, a subsidiary of Canon Middle East has been appointed as the exclusive printing solutions provider for Middle East Communication Network (MCN), an advertising and marketing agency network that manages companies including Promoseven, Universal Media, Lowe, Initiative and Magna, in the MENA region.

Shadi Bakhour, General Manager, Canon Emirates; said: “Canon continues to expand its portfolio with a client database in the region from a range of industries looking for efficient Managed Print Services.

As a group, including some of biggest media agencies in the Middle East and North Africa, MCN printing is an integral part of their day-to-day workings and business, so the fact that they have signed with Canon to manage their printing needs is a testament to the strength of our offering.”

“Canon’s strategy is based on helping organisations save a significant amount on their print-related costs, on increasing productivity and on allowing a company such as MCN to have one point of contact for all things related to print operations.  Canon has an advantage by offering clients more than just cost effective solutions but also secure printing environment, mobile printing and also implementing a toner recycling campaign, which is Canon Emirates’ signature environmental approach,” added Bakhour.

The move also represents MCN’s commitment to its Environment Protection Policy (EPP) by further increasing its sustainable approach in utilising Canon’s environment friendly printers in their corporate environment. “The overall solution has reduced our total cost of ownership, and ensuring MCN’s commitment to eco-friendly standards in the printing eco-system,” commented Arun Krishnan, Regional IT Director, MCN
