Futec, a supplier of 100% automatic flaw detection systems for print and surface inspection for commercial, packaging and label markets, is expanding its presence in EMEA markets. To serve the United Arab Emirates markets, FUTEC has established a partnership with Orion Co., which will serve UAE from February 2017 and the rest of the Middle East from May 2017.
Mohannad Naqqasha, general manager of Orion Co, said, “100% inspection systems not only deliver economic benefits such as waste reduction, they give users peace of mind and allow them to be totally transparent with their customers. Moreover, our customers in the packaging industry are telling us that many major brand owners are now demanding that 100% inspection is a pre-requisite in the production process.”
Futec recently expanded its European business operations by opening a European business hub to further improve the sales and technical service support in Europe. The business hub, which is headquartered in Germany, is also used as a dedicated customer training centre. Its European hub recently took additional responsibility for the Middle East, operating as a sales and service centre for customers the EMEA region.
