The MMServices program is bringing the software of the NewsGrip conveyors, the control system of the FlexiRoll buffers, the control and operating systems of each of the four FlexiRoll stations and the CN 80 compensating stackers, and the ramp system up to date at the major printing center.
The Guardian Print Centre (GPC) is having the extensive upgrade performed in response to the increasing risk of downtime as the machines age. Ongoing production is not disrupted during the months of work thanks to a sophisticated schedule.
