As part of Xerox-Kuwait’s social responsibility program, the employees of Xerox-Kuwait (a Yusuf A. Alghanim & Sons Company) recently visited the National Bank of Kuwait’s Children’s Hospital – Cancer and Leukemia Department to spend time entertaining patients.
During their visit, the employees from Xerox-Kuwait amused the children in the wards with a variety of activities such as face painting, a magic show, games and prizes for everyone taking part. At the end of the visit, each child received a special ‘goody-bag’ to keep as a memento.
Afterwards, the children in the wards wrote a letter to the Xerox-Kuwait team to thank them for their visit and express their appreciation for their day of fun and entertainment.
Xerox-Kuwait’s involvement with the NBK Children’s Hospital is an illustration of how the company is fulfilling its commitment to Kuwait’s community in ways which provide benefit to employees as well as support for local people. The Xerox-Kuwait team is already planning similar activities to take place in the near future.
