Triple Bonanza for Converters, Packers & Printers in Munich

Munich will once again be hosting the three leading events, all at the same time and the same venue, a major crowd-puller for the converting, packaging, and industrial printing industries. ICE Europe, CCE International, and InPrint Munich will be held concurrently from 14-16 March, 2023, and co-located at the Trade Fair Center Messe München.

Held every two years, the shows are organised by UK-based event planner Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd. specializing in international trade fairs, B2B exhibitions, events, and conferences in specialized industry sectors.

ICE Europe

In its 13th edition, the International Converting Exhibition is a leading international trade fair for the conversion of flexible, web-based materials such as paper, film, foil, and nonwovens.

The all-comprehensive platform enables suppliers of the international converting industry to showcase their latest machinery, systems, materials, and accessories, and meet global industry experts who have come with specific investment plans, looking for bespoke products and processing solutions to match their business ideas. ICE Europe provides great opportunities for those within the industry to make high-profile connections, engaging with the target audience, gaining insights into market trends, besides closing deals and increasing sales.

“ICE Europe is definitely the place to be, as it’s the only key exhibition of its kind in the converting industry. There is no event comparable that provides this level of high-quality opportunities for networking. The show attracts specialists from a wide range of sectors ranging from packaging, printing, plastics, engineering, medical, and many more. Industry experts from around the globe travel to attend this industry hot spot to seize business opportunities and to evaluate their innovations in the presence of a specialized international audience,” says Patrick Herman, event director of the converting, paper and print events, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.

The prestigious ICE Awards will continue honouring the outstanding achievements and technological advancements among participants. The awards acknowledge and act as an incentive to promote the innovative spirit of sustainability, digitalization, and efficiency of the exhibiting companies.

Over 330 leading companies from several European countries besides Canada, China, India, Taiwan, and the United States have confirmed their participation.

CCE International

CCE International

The 6th international Corrugated & Carton Exhibition is recognized as Europe’s only trade fair for this highly specialized industry. With its focus solely on manufacturing and converting of corrugated and cartonboard, the fair has firmly established itself as a specialized meeting point for this particular sector.

The event is a global platform where raw material manufacturers and suppliers of machinery, accessories, and services meet up with buyers and users coming from around the world looking for made-to-order machines for the production and converting solutions as a business investment.

Exhibitors at CCE International will cover the entire supply chain of the production and processing of corrugated and folding cartons attracting a targeted audience of industry professionals, high-profile decision makers, and engineers working in different areas and from a wide range of industries. Converting machinery; cutting, creasing, and die cutting equipment; corrugated and cartonboard paper; design and CAD/CAM; printing processes and equipment; pallet strapping and handling systems and much more will be on display.

“With the ongoing technological development of machines, processes, and systems for the production and conversion of corrugated cartonboard and folding carton, digitalization has become a major driver in this industry over the last decade,” says Herman.

“CCE International is not only Europe’s only trade fair for corrugated and folding box industry, but also stands out from other general packaging events with its academic training  in the form of open seminars over three days,” adds Gerlinde Kasa, event manager of converting, paper and print events, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.

Leading companies from China, Israel, Taiwan, and the United States, and several European countries have confirmed participation in this year’s exhibition.

InPrint Munich

InPrint Munich

As the third event to be held along with CCE International, InPrint Munich is a leading platform attracting high-level trade professionals from an emerging community of printing and industrial manufacturing specialists. The trade event is a window for the world’s leading print tech companies to present their latest technology in digital, inkjet, screen, and specialty printing, redefining the role of print technology on on-demand production, mass customization, and cost-efficient processing of goods, products, and packaging. The expo also provides unrivalled business potential and opportunities for creating synergies for all printing professionals and manufacturers.

InPrint is also a must-attend for other auxiliary industries such as aerospace, architecture and design, automotive, consumer goods manufacturers, medical equipment, packaging and container printing, and many more.

Over three days, exhibitors from several European nations and the United States will get a chance to meet a wide range of international buyers and decision makers from the manufacturing sector and supplier industries, as well as traditional print service providers looking for an upgradation with advanced industry applications.

Following the success at previous shows, a high-level conference conducted by UK-based inkjet printhead manufacturer Xaar, will take place at the InPrint Munich technical stage of CCE International. Hosted by Werner Zapka, consultant at Swedish wza-consulting, the conference has, over the years, received a great feedback from attendees, who’ve enjoyed industry experts from major global companies share their know-how in a series of presentations and discussion panels. Keynote speakers this year will feature representatives from Adobe, Agfa, Canon, Epson, FujiFilm, HP, Konica Minolta, and others.
