The closing meeting of the first session of the Izdihar programme presented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development will be held on 30 July, 2022, with the participation of representatives from the Chemical & Fertilizers Export Council and the Export Council for Printing, Packaging, Paper, Literary and Artistic Works. Officials of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) and directors of consulting companies will also participate in the meeting.
The Izdihar programme, implemented by the Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), aims to aid small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the printing and packaging sector achieve significant growth rate by helping them build and implement a strategic plan through a group of consultants specialized in the sector, in addition to providing the necessary technical support in the areas of marketing and business development, innovation management, technology transfer, improving operations, targeting new markets for the purpose of export, asset and fund management, and HR training.
The application form for the programme includes a set of required information to get to know the company and its line of business in a better way and to make sure that the initial conditions for participating in the programme are met. The form helps in gaining access to vital information regarding a company’s area of service, its direct distribution channels, major competitors and challenges faced, the sales volume achieved in the previous year, the sales growth rate attained in the past year, and number of current customers.
