BOBST, Partners Bring Cutting-Edge Tech to Addis Ababa
In a major collaborative effort for East Africa’s manufacturing sector, BOBST, ETERNA, and Multigraph Machinery (Kenya) Ltd. have announced their joint participation in the upcoming plastprintpack Ethiopia 2026, scheduled to run from 25–27 June 2026 at the Addis International Convention Center (AICC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The exhibition, now in its 8th edition, will highlight the impressive growth and vast potential defining Ethiopia’s plastics, printing, and packaging sectors.
Operating from booth A-12 in close collaboration with BOBST and ETERNA, Multigraph—the East Africa agent for BOBST—will host a dedicated space to present the latest technologies and production advancements to regional stakeholders in packaging and printing.
Products on display will feature the MASTER M5, an automated, highly flexible inline flexo press designed for full digitalisation of the production workflow. Built to handle short to long runs with high profitability, it can handle diverse substrates like films, foils, and labelstock. It features DigiFlexo for automated register and pressure control, reduces waste, and integrates multi-process finishing in a single pass.
Another highlight is the NOVA RS 5003, an advanced Electronic Line Shaft (ELS) gravure printing press engineered to provide precise register control and low power consumption. Optimised for flexible packaging using solvent- or water-based inks, it runs eco-friendly substrates at production speeds of up to 350 m/min.
Additionally, the VISION CI, a compact flexo press, delivers exceptional price-performance value across a wide range of substrates. Featuring a sturdy anti-vibration design to eliminate bounce, it ensures consistent, high-speed print repeatability with minimal operator intervention.
Other state-of-the-art displays include the ETERNA E Cut 1060 E automatic flatbed die-cutting and creasing machine, the ETERNA E Fold series of automatic folding-gluing machines, ETERNA die cutters for corrugation. Finally, the CITYLINE EXPRESS—a single-width, single-circumference web offset press from the Manugraph stable—will also be showcased.
