FESPA Africa 2026 Wraps Up, Future-Proofs Print & Signage

The African print, signage, and visual communications industries experienced a massive wave of innovation as FESPA Africa 2026 wrapped up its successful three-day run at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. The premier trade show, which ran from 8–10 September 2026, brought together more than 150 regional exhibitors representing over 500 local and global brands.
Co-located with Sign Africa Expo, Africa Print Expo, GPS Joburg Expo, and Modern Marketing Expo, the event delivered a comprehensive, all-inclusive overview of the visual media and product customisation landscape.
Designed to give sector professionals a competitive edge, FESPA Africa served as a strategic hub for business owners looking to future-proof their operations in an increasingly fast-evolving market. Attendees engaged directly with industry experts to discover performance-driven solutions engineered to optimise productivity, open new regional pathways, and maximise overall profitability.

The show floor served as the launching pad for exclusive product rollouts and live demonstrations of the latest technologies in signage, wide-format digital printing, commercial printing, screen printing, direct-to-film (DTF) apparel and textile printing, and garment decoration. Beyond exploring hardware advancements, the event provided extensive, high-value networking spaces where industry peers, trade experts, and business owners connected to exchange valuable insights into the 2025 market trends and technologies.
Adding a thrilling competitive element to the show floor, this year’s Speedwrap Challenge drew vehicle wrapping professionals and enthusiasts. Hosted by FESPA Africa and Sign Africa Expo, and sponsored by Roland, the high-energy competition put precision, speed, and vinyl application techniques to the test. Contestants raced against the clock to wrap a car door in under 10 minutes, and daily cash prizes were awarded to the top performers, making the competition an undeniable highlight of the exhibition.
FESPA Africa 2026 offered an essential convergence of technology, education, and modern applications tailored to current market shifts. By acting as a dynamic platform where business owners easily evaluated next-generation equipment, gathered actionable technical knowledge, and expanded their industry connections, the event solidified its role as a cornerstone for the continent’s print and signage future.
