Signtrade has the whole hall 5 all to itself. The company is taking over of more than 1600 square meter of exhibition space, 950 square meter of which is company’s built up area. The company will showcase a wide range of Mimaki printers including 3 new models which will be launched for the first time. The new JV400SUV is a High quality 4 colour printer for outdoor or indoor applications.
According to Mimaki the new printer sets new industry standards by combining the flexibility of solvent printing with the durability of UV cured inks, resulting in smooth, glossy prints, which simulate the appearance of being coated yet retaining the colour brightness expected from a solvent printer. Printer’s Production output is up to 18.1 sqm per hour and it offers two choice of print widths; 1371 mm or 1620 mm. machine’s other features include prints exit machine completely dry, ready for immediate post-processing. It also offers improved variable dot print technology and provides minimum dot size capability of just 4 picolitre.
Mimaki is also showing JV400LX Series. This is Mimaki’s latest generation of latex printers. Mimaki claims this machine boasts an even wider colour gamut using more ecologically friendly inks and is also the world’s first latex printer to feature white ink. Other new Mimaki products include SWJ-320S2 / S4 solvent printer as well as UJF-3042HG UV and UJF-6042 flatbed printer A3 size, the former with the high gap.
The SWJ-320S2 / S4 is Mimaki’s affordable grand format printer. Mimaki have developed the new SWJ-320 series particularly for the signage industry in emerging and more cost-conscious markets. This machine is specifically available to non-European Union countries. The new printer is offered in two models: SWJ-320S2 (standard) and SWJ-320S4 (high speed). Printer’s features include super wide format printing (up to 3.2m) at a more competitive price, high speed printing up to 83 sqm/h (S4 model) and 51.9 sqm/h (S2 model), High quality printing with a maximum resolution of 1080 x 1200 dpi, Reliable nozzle maintenance functions. Signtrade will also showcase Mimaki’s range of dye sublimation printers, engravers, flatbed cutting plotters, but that’s not all.
