The Qatari Publishers and Distributors Forum recently launched its website. The new site represents an interactive educational platform with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and in cooperation with the Forum’s partners from publishing houses and Qatari distributors.
The site represents the culmination of the cultural and creative initiatives that the Qatari Publishers and Distributors Forum has contributed since its establishment in 2019. Among them is the project to support cultural activities for children of displaced Syrians in refugee camps in Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon.
The Ministry of Culture and Sports, represented by the Qatari Publishers and Distributors Forum, launched the first version of the Doha Fellowship for Publishers program, with the participation of 42 Qatari, Arab and foreign publishers from 22 countries around the world, at the Doha International Book Fair in its 30th session at the Doha Conference Center.
The Qatar Forum for Publishers and Distributors, affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Sports has launched the first edition of the Doha Publishers Fellowship Program, which it organizes in partnership with the Hamad Bin Khalifa University Publishing in January. The program will host in its first year 50 Qatari and Arab publishers from 22 countries around the world.
