Print4All to Accelerate Printing & Converting Innovation

Cutting-edge technologies, new materials, and spotlight on corrugated cardboard; with more than 240 exhibitors, the industry gathers at Fiera Milano to shape a more digital, green, and competitive future

The printing and converting industry takes centre stage once again at Fiera Milano with Print4All, the leading event in the sector organised by Fiera Milano and promoted by Italian printing and packaging organisations Argi and Acimga. From 27-30 May 2025, the spotlight will be on machinery, technologies, and materials characterised by innovation, advanced digitalisation, and sustainability.

With 245 exhibiting companies – 33% of them international – coming from 17 countries, Print4All 2025 reaffirms its international vocation and positions itself as a strategic platform to highlight the innovative capabilities of the printing and converting market, enhance the potential of new materials and digital solutions, and address the major trends transforming the industry. A central theme of this edition is the focus on corrugated cardboard, a key material in the transition towards more sustainable and efficient packaging.

“Print4All represents a strategic moment for the entire printing and converting ecosystem: a tangible platform to showcase the technological excellence of companies, but also to tackle the transformations reshaping the market, from the green transition to increasing automation,” says Enrico Barboglio, Director of Acimga and Argi. “With over 240 companies in attendance and a strong international component, Print4All will be the place where the supply chain comes together to share vision, technology, and new development opportunities.”

To promote the technologies on display internationally, and thanks to the renewed collaboration between Acimga and Italian Trade Agency (ICE), the event will host a delegation of around 120 highly qualified foreign buyers from 28 countries. These buyers will have the opportunity to meet with exhibiting companies, following a predefined schedule, and assess the potential and benefits of implementing the most innovative solutions.

Digitalisation & Sustainability

Digitalisation & Sustainability: Drivers of Market Development

At Print4All 2025, printing reveals its most advanced face. Advanced automation and artificial intelligence are now fully integrated into printing and converting systems, transforming production processes to enhance efficiency, precision, and flexibility.

Green printing is no longer a future prospect but a well-established reality, supported by technologies that directly meet the needs of responsible production and compliance with European regulations.

The exhibition will showcase ready-to-deploy solutions to optimise every phase of the printing process, improving performance, reducing waste, and expanding the range of personalised services. Significant space will also be given to proposals embracing circular economy principles, contributing to a more conscious industrial model.

Corrugated Experience

Corrugated Cardboard in the Spotlight

No longer just a packaging material, corrugated cardboard – with an Italian market worth over €4 billion, second in Europe only to Germany – is now a key player in the printing and converting world. Its inherent qualities – strength, versatility, excellent printability, and low environmental impact – make it a valuable asset not only for logistics and e-commerce but increasingly for visual communication as well.

Print4All confirms this material as one of the stars of the 2025 edition, with a cross-cutting technological focus brought to life by 40 companies guiding visitors through a kind of experiential journey across the exhibition halls. These companies will showcase the full creative and industrial potential of corrugated cardboard. High-impact printing solutions, advanced converting techniques, and smart packaging projects will demonstrate how corrugated cardboard is evolving from a functional support to a medium for brand identity and emotional communication.

Adding strength to this narrative will be the Corrugated Experience Hub, a dedicated exhibition initiative located in Hall 9. Designed as both an information and inspiration hub for producers, converters, printers, and brand owners, the initiative is supported by leading technology players, including Canon Italia, Elitron Robotic Cutting Intelligence, Erhardt+Leimer, Fosber, HP Italy, Koenig & Bauer, New Aerodinamica, Petratto, SEI Laser, Siegwerk, Simec Group, and tesa.

The hub will illustrate the entire corrugated production chain – from corrugation to printing – offering live demos and insights on emerging trends, and a stage to discover cutting-edge technologies, generate new synergies, and explore real business opportunities in a sector undergoing rapid transformation and constant growth.

PRINTMAT

PRINTMAT: Where Materials, Printing & Creativity Meet

PRINTMAT, the special initiative returning to Hall 11, highlights the endless possibilities that printing can offer when creativity, sustainable materials, finishing techniques, and innovative technologies work together in synergy.

In this area, companies including 3M Italia, Colines, Oropress, and Roland DG will present a tangible overview of the most original applications in the commercial, publishing, and packaging worlds. The focus will be on biodegradable, interactive, customisable solutions with strong aesthetic and functional impact. PRINTMAT reaffirms itself as the beating heart of material-based innovation – an immersive experience for those who want to get hands-on with the future of printing.

WeArePrint4All HUB

WeArePrint4All HUB: Where Professional Growth Starts

At the core of Print4All 2025’s educational offering will be the WeArePrint4All HUB, created in collaboration with Argi and Acimga. Located in Hall 11, it serves as a prime meeting point for the industry’s associations, a networking space for the global printing and converting community, and above all, as a venue for professional development. Throughout the four-day event, WeArePrint4All HUB will host a packed schedule of workshops, talks, and seminars on the most pressing topics in the sector.

In line with the event’s focus on corrugated cardboard, a special spotlight will be dedicated to this segment, with sessions on technology, sustainability, professional skills, and market analysis.

At the heart of Print4All 2025’s educational programme are sustainability and innovation – two guiding forces redefining production models and business practices across the supply chain. Discussions will cover low-impact packaging, new regulations, and green printing systems. Sessions will also delve into the impact of artificial intelligence on production, covering automation, efficiency, and customisation.

Further highlights include discussions on materials, creativity, and embellishment, and how these elements can support personalisation and brand enhancement.

Market insights will also be addressed, from the global appreciation of Made-in-Italy printing excellence to deep dives into vertical segments such as flexo, gravure, and screen printing.

The agenda will also include more technical sessions focused on safety, traceability, and the evolution of professional skills.

The training programme aims to highlight young talents, bring them closer to the market, and shed light on the new professions of the printing world, where technology, creativity, and sustainability converge. It’s a programme designed for those who want to stay ahead and actively contribute to the future of the industry.

The Innovation Alliance

The Innovation Alliance: A Winning Synergy

Print4All 2025 once again forms part of The Innovation Alliance, a strategic synergy that enhances the cross-sector integration and complementarity of related markets essential to the manufacturing industry.

Four simultaneous events offer a comprehensive and specialised perspective on different segments of a single, ideal production chain: from sustainable processing and transformation machinery for rubber and plastics at GreenPlast to IPACK-IMA offering processing and packaging technologies for both food and non-food sectors, from Print4All with its printing and converting solutions, and INTRALOGISTICA ITALIA with its innovative warehouse logistics and handling systems.

This unique ecosystem in Europe is tailored for those seeking innovation, efficiency, and sustainable development across the entire industrial supply chain.
