SUNOWA is designed to deliver high productivity across a wide range of applications. It handles materials of varying thickness and weight, from 50 microns up to 250 g/sq m, offering the versatility needed by converters operating in dynamic production environments.
The unwinder and rewinder setup ensures efficient job handling, while flexible shaft options provide adaptability for different materials. Automatic tension control and web guiding keep material handling stable throughout the production process, ensuring consistent quality, shorter setup times, and smooth workflow continuity.

At the heart of SUNOWA’s quality control is an integrated 100% inspection system. Equipped with advanced imaging and smart lighting, it detects defects and ensures precise monitoring, even on challenging or reflective surfaces.

Precision Slitting and Intelligent Workflow
SUNOWA features a self-sharpening knife system with up to 10 knife groups, ensuring consistent and precise slitting performance over long production runs. Trim removal is handled by a synchronised suction system that keeps operations clean and efficient.
To further support productivity, the machine integrates intelligent error correction tools. The defective label replacement table allows quick intervention during inspection, while the integrated length and label counter with automatic slowdown enhances control during job completion and changeovers.
Together, these features reduce waste, streamline operator intervention, and maintain steady production flow.
