PPG Achieves Another Milestone With DIPA 2014

The eight edition of Print Award held at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai on Monday, 28 April 2014 proved to be a slick and stylish event. It clearly showed after eight consecutive years the organizer of the event has reached a high level of maturity. As expected hundreds of print professionals attended the gala ceremony. The quality of printed products this year was much higher. The entertainment programme was attractive and light. This is the second year that the award ceremony takes place in Madinat Jumeira. Change of the venue defiantly has been a right decision for it a new approach by the Printing and Publishing Group to make the event more interesting. Praising the high level of quality and workmanship of the printed works submitted this year Nicholas Jung head of the judging panel said” it is clear that DIPA 214 raised the bar on quality standard in UAE. Printing in UAE and region is getting better and printers are becoming more quality conscience. “

DIPA 2014 selected winners based on innovation and quality from more than hundreds of submissions across 23 categories from GCC, Levant, South Africa, India & UAE.

DIPA 2014 has Sheikh Hasher Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director General of Dubai Information Department, as the guest of honour. Sheikh Hasher was also conferred the award for ‘Personality of the Year’ by the Dubai International Print Awards 2014.

The Dubai International Print Awards 2014 was sponsored by Heidelberg and Fujifilm as Gold Sponsors, and Khaleej Times as Media Partner.
