New Centre For Printing Quran Kicks Off
Dubai’s publishing and Media power house, Dubai Media Inc. (DMI) recently launched a new center for printing Quran. The new center which is called Mohammed bin Rashid Quran Printing Centre uses Masar Printing and Publishing in IMPZ for printing and production of Holy book. Masar’s state-of-the-art facility provides the perfect platform and environment for production of holy book.
“The launch of the state-of-the-art centre is in line with wise directives from Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and U.A.E.’s strong belief and keen interest in serving the Holy Quran through a dedicated full-time team. The centre is aimed at promoting the real and true message of Islam, the teachings of Quran and the Sunnah (the way of life prescribed as normative for Muslims on the basis of the teachings and practices of the Prophet Mohammad PBUH), tolerance, moderation and -intercultural interaction in order to achieve peace and coexistence between all races and to make the world a better place for humanity,” said Sami Al Qamzi, DMI, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director.
Faisal Bin Haider Executive Director – Printing ‘&’ Distribution at DMI, said the Mohammed bin Rashid Quran Printing Centre will be the first of its kind to provide copies of Quran in all typescript, writing styles and variant readings for all Muslim countries.
With an annual production capacity of 6 million copies, the new Quran printing centre initially aims to print the ‘Khalifa bin Zayed Mus’haf’ (edition of the Holy Quran) and the ‘Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Mus’haf’.
