Multicolour Printing Press, one of the fastest growing printing and marketing service provider in Dubai installed their first Agfa machine Anapurna M3200i RTR last month. The Anapurna M3200i RTR is a high-speed 3.2 meter-wide roll-to-roll UV-inkjet printer which was launched by Agfa a few months back in the Middle East. It prints top-quality indoor and outdoor banners and billboards in a six, a four, or a four color plus white configuration, at speeds up to 123 m²/hr.
Mulitcolor opted for the six color version for its digital press. The company wanted to introduce UV technology and found Anapurna as the perfect machine which fit their requirements. Kazi Mohammad Faizal, Executive Director, Multicolor Printing Press said, “We were planning to expand into the digital industry. We have more of roll to roll customers. There were a lot of queries coming in for UV machines. We also wanted to invest in new machines for further expansion of the company.”
“We knew Agfa was good in the market and saw an opportunity when they launched his new machine in Dubai few months back; we thought this was perfect for us. It fits to our budget and requirements of the work,” he added.
The company had a test run for a week after the installation for Anapurna M3200i RTR. It started accepting jobs only after its successful test run. “Initially after installation, we did not accept any job for a week as we were testing the machines. A lot of queries are coming in. People wanted samples. But now, we are accepting new jobs and customers are really happy with the quality,” said Faizal.
Anapurna M3200i RTR is the first machine to be purchased by Mulitcolour. It also hopes to invest in other Agfa machines later during the year.
