CHINA PRINT 2025 Sets New Records, Top Pros Attend

CHINA PRINT 2025 opened its doors at exactly 9.30 on the morning of 15 May 2025 to the global printing fraternity that gathered at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) and the Capital International Exhibition and Convention Center, along with leaders from relevant government departments, heads of printing associations from foreign countries, overseas and domestic exhibitors and buyers, and representatives from the global media. The event concluded today (19 May 2025), setting new records in sheer scale and attendance.

The 11th edition – jointly sponsored by the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC) and China International Exhibition Center Group Ltd (CIEC Group), and co-organised by China Print Show Company Ltd, and Dongguan Print China International Exhibition Company Ltd – provided a perfect meeting point for industry professionals to discover the latest printing technologies and solutions in digital and offset printing, labelling, and post-press solutions. The five-day event also provided the ideal platform for networking with international peers and gaining insights into the future of printing.

Key highlights included launch of new products, live machine demos, high-level forums, and immersive factory tours.

In order to meet the exhibitors’ requirements and improve visitor experience, CHINA PRINT 2025 made use of all the eight exhibition halls of the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) and the three exhibition halls of the Capital International Exhibition and Convention Center.

Sprawling a massive 1,80,000 square meters, the exhibition halls accommodated more than 1,300 exhibitors from 25 countries, including Bangladesh, Belgium, Bhutan, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Netherlands, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, UAE, UK, USA, Vietnam, besides hosts China.

Some of the exhibitors included HEIDELBERG, Horizon Group, Kodak, Komori, Konica Minolta, Landa, Manroland, Muller Martini, besides leading China-based print service providers.

Strong momentum for HEIDELBERG at CHINA PRINT 2025

At this year’s edition of CHINA PRINT, HEIDELBERG once again demonstrated strong momentum, with a consistently busy booth and broad interest from customers across the Asia-Pacific region.

The company presented key innovations in both offset and digital printing, including the Speedmaster CX 104 and the Jetfire 50 inkjet system, shown in China for the first time following its drupa debut.

Smart production solutions for greater automation and transparency also drew significant attention. Among several customer wins announced during the show were new installations at Shengda Printing Group, a leading paper packaging manufacturer, and Zibo Pengyuxiang Packaging, a specialised packaging printer.

Innovative Themed Exhibition Areas

The exhibition also featured the Green Innovation Theme Park, focusing on cross-border technology and application innovation. Special innovative exhibition areas displayed printing packaging using artificial intelligence, digital automation, sustainable development, integrated production, education and research, and cultural and creative industries, with the latest cutting-edge technologies such as robotics in printing packaging, robotic arms and AGV carts, smart factories, innovative materials, and environmentally friendly materials, VOC treatment, and water based inks.

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives from over 30 provincial and regional printing associations across the mainland China, as well as delegates from printing associations from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.

CIEC Group VP Ma Li adds, “The printing industry, positioned at the intersection of cultural dissemination and industrial manufacturing, serves as both a frontier for technological innovation and a practice field for green development. The 11th Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition, themed ‘Four Decades of Collaboration, Forging a Shared Future’, showcased new achievements in intelligent manufacturing, latest progress in integrated innovation, and emerging models of service transformation. Breakthrough displays in green printing technologies and Al applications for printing and packaging were also highlighted, providing strong impetus for the industry’s innovative development.”

Established in 1984, CHINA PRINT is held in Beijing every four years. After 10 successful editions and 41 years of development, CHINA PRINT has become the second largest event in the printing industry globally.
