Al Shurook Installs Newest HEIDELBERG Speedmaster XL 106
Jordan’s Al Shurook for Printing and Packaging has installed HEIDELBERG’s newly enhanced Peak Performance Speedmaster XL 106-7+LYY-1+L, the first machine of its kind worldwide. The installation of this state-of-the-art technology is part of Al Shurook’s well thought business strategy that focuses on efficiency, flexibility, and maintaining the highest possible standards of quality and sustainability for their customers.
The Peak Performance Speedmaster XL 106, announced at drupa 2024, comes with printing speeds of up to 21,000 sheets per hour, setting a new benchmark for productivity in straight printing and perfecting.
Besides high-speed printing, the new generation press is packed with a wide range of innovations. The new Hycolor XL inking/dampening unit with intelligent ink distribution and improved Vario system ensures high quality and waste reduction when processing challenging jobs. The new Speedmaster XL 106 Push to Stop coating unit reduces set-up times by up to 30%, with parallel, fully automated processes that enable autonomous coating changes in folding carton printing for the first time.
