Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi issued a presidential decree to sack General Manager of Textbook Printing Foundation, Abdullah Abu Horiah.
Apparently the disgraced authority was using printing press building to stash and hide weapons as well as transporting them illegally across south Yemen in container vehicles along with printing equipment.
Abu Horiah will be replaced by Mohammed Omar Salem Basilam who will take charge as the new executive director of the Foundation.
The news regarding Abu Horiah‘s weapon smuggling misadventures and his role as a supporter of ousted Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh and a key facilitator of weapons to Houthis (Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen) surfaced via tweets.
