Al-Arabi Magazine Implements Advanced Digital Strategy

Secretary General of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature, Kamel Suleiman Al-Abd Al-Jalil laid out his plan for the development and drive for digital transformation of Al-Arabi magazine, an icon of Kuwaiti culture and the Arab publishing world.

This came in a press statement yesterday during a visit to the magazine’s headquarters by the Minister of Information, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Chairman of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature, Abdul-Rahman Al-Mutairi.

According to Al-Abd Al-Jalil during the meeting with Minister Al-Mutairi a number of important issues including the further expansion of the magazine’s reach in Arab countries and beyond with the cooperation of the embassies of the State of Kuwait abroad, in addition to moving to the digital and electronic format, which has become necessary following the Corona epidemic were discussed.

He also added that in the meeting with the Minister other important items such as finding implementation channels that push the magazine forward in the fast-paced world of publishing and distribution, as well as relocating the magazine headquarter to a modern and larger building with enough space to accommodate the magazine’s archive, which started in 1958 were also discussed.
