Agfa Graphics, a global supplier of digital printing solutions for sign and display and industrial printing displayed the latest additions to its portfolio of wide-format UV inkjet printers at FESPA 2015.
The new Jeti Mira is a 2.7-meter wide six-color and white UV-inkjet printer, featuring a moving gantry for printing on x- and y-axes with pinpoint precision. It offers printing speed up to 206 m²/h. The new Jeti Tauro is a 2.5-meter wide high-end hybrid six-color UV inkjet printer, plus white or primer. Featuring speeds up to 275 m² per hour and multiple automation options, it can print on all kinds of media.
Jeti Mira is a true flatbed printer. It produces printing in six colors with or without white and/or varnish. The 7pl droplet size produces good detail and razor-sharp text even in something as small as 4-point type, both positive and negative. The Jeti Mira features ‘Print & Prepare’ technology that allows you to load new media while the printer is still working.
The Jeti Tauro is a hybrid printer, featuring media tables as well as an integrated roll-to-roll system. It accommodates rigid media as diverse as cardboards, foam board, composite aluminum, and PMMA, as well as rolled flexible substrates such as backlit film, UV-curable textiles, paper, PVC banners, mesh (with linear) and vinyl. The Jeti Tauro produces high-quality results on these materials, whether for indoor or outdoor applications. It prints to widths as great as 2.54 meters and can accommodate rigid media up to 4.0 meters in length. Driven by Asanti workflow technology and optimized to work with Agfa’s high-pigmented UV-inks, every aspect of the Jeti Tauro is perfectly suited to the quality and productivity demands of high-end sign and display printers.
