Xerox Proficio Presses to Make Regional Debut at GPP 2026

Xerox has announced it will make the regional debut of its newly launched Proficio PX300 and PX500 production presses at the upcoming Gulf Print & Pack 2026. The event, recognised as the premier print and packaging technology trade show in the MENA region, will take place from 31 March to 2 April 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Innovations in Production Print

The centerpieces of the Xerox exhibit at Booth L4 in Sheikh Saeed Hall 1 are the first machines in the new flagship Proficio series. These next-generation presses, specifically built with graphic arts and commercial print in mind, are engineered to address shifting market demands for increased differentiation and efficiency.

Key features of the new presses include production speeds of up to 85 pages per minute (ppm) for the PX300 and up to 100 ppm for the PX500. Both models feature Ultra HD resolution (2400 x 2400 dpi) for exceptional print clarity. An optional 5th colour station allows for high-value embellishments beyond CMYK, including fluorescent pink, clear, and low-gloss clear toners. Additionally, built-in performance modules maintain precise colour density and front-to-back registration in real-time through advanced automation.

Full Production Ecosystem

Beyond the Proficio line, Xerox will demonstrate its comprehensive production ecosystem, including the Xerox Iridesse for high-value CMYK+ embellishments and the versatile PrimeLink B & C series for versatile, high-quality output. The exhibit will also highlight workflow excellence with live demos of AI-assisted tools and software solutions, including FreeFlow Core, FreeFlow Vision Connect, and XMPie for multichannel communications.

Event Significance

Gulf Print & Pack 2026 marks its 15th edition with a projected 15% growth in floor space, hosting over 300 global exhibitors and 8,000 industry professionals. The show serves as a critical platform for printers and packaging converters to discover technologies that lower labour dependence through smarter automation.
