Xerox Egypt held an event to celebrate the launch of its digital color printing technology Versant 2100 Press which enables its clients to print all document types at high speeds and high quality. The event was held on September 22nd and 23rd at the Conrad Hotel and was attended by about 400 guests of Xerox’s clients from major corporations, governmental agencies, and small and medium-sized enterprises from different business sectors targeting the advertising and graphic communications sectors.
Xerox kicked off the event showcasing the most important features of the Versant 2100 digital press that include; sharp image quality with the new Ultra HD Resolution providing images at 2400×2400 dpi, at a speed of 100 pages per minute, and automated color management and control that ensure consistent and accurate color across the sheets. The Versant 2100 digital press can handle variety of paper stock up to 350 gsm and assist companies; especially those operating in the fields of advertising and graphic communications to face the exceeding work demand, maximize productivity and expand in new fields that can include printing books, collaterals, brochures and many more. The machine is also equipped with XMPie StoreFlow which creates and delivers revenue generating web-to-print portals.
During the event, live demonstrations of the press and its digital color printing technology which is launched for the first time in Egypt were shown. The Versant 2100 press offers more flexibility with the three controller options – the Xerox EX and EX-P 2100 Print Server, Powered by Fiery, and the Xerox FreeFlow® Print Server, so users can tailor the press to their production needs. Additionally, the machine uses, Emulsion Aggregation (EA) Low melt dry ink that requires less power to fuse to a variety of stocks, Also the press provides its users with better and more performance through its automated color control feature which creates image-to-media alignment profiles and delivers brand-managed color in less time with less waste with an inline, integrated Full Width Array.
In addition to such features, Versant 2100 press includes the Xerox’s Profit Accelerator Digital Business Resources, which provides business-development tools and services.
