SAPPI Looks Forward to Participating at SGI Dubai 2020

New Exhibitor SAPPI looks forward to participating in the SGI Dubai 2020. For their very first show, they would be introducing their top of the line products. Transjet product portfolio comprises of coated sublimation papers for digital transfer printing with water-based dye sub inks. Dye sublimation is mainly used in industries like fashion, home textiles such as bed linen or curtains, advertising textiles such as exhibition banners, sportswear such as jersey shirts and hard substrates such as skis or snowboards.

Their sublimation papers are designed for maximum and consistent color transfer with minimum ink consumption. Whether industrial or non-industrial printers – Transjet dye sublimation papers are suitable for various machine types and speeds to cover a wide range of polyester-based application segments.

At the show Sappi will showcase the recently launched Transjet Drive with its remarkable features, offering consistent high-quality results, fast ink drying and short transfer time. Sappi’s R&D team developed this excellent paper for industrial high-speed printers with a glue-belt system for sublimating fashion, home textiles, and soft signage. The printing results are impressive.

The production process is efficient and ensures increased running. The exceptionally smooth reverse side is the key feature of Transjet Drive. For large-format digital printing used in indoor and outdoor posters as well as technical printing for the construction industry with CAD and engineering, Sappi is showcasing its large-format inkjet papers Swiss Matt, DT-Plot and Scrolljet at the Dallas trade show.

These special inkjet papers are compatible with many types of inks, including water-based, solvent and HP Latex inks. If customers would like to create realistic prints for city light and mega light systems, Scrolljet is the product of choice. This coated inkjet paper offers high colour brilliance and homogeneity.
