RISI, the leading information provider for the global forest products industry chose Dubai for the first time as an ideal venue for its Global Outlook Conference. The event will be held December 9-11, 2013, at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre. The 2013 PPI Awards will also be held after the conference concludes on December 11.
“Dubai is a growing trade hub and its central location to important paper producing countries makes it the perfect choice for our annual Awards event and for our first Global Outlook Conference,” said Mark Rushton, chair of RISI Global Outlook Conference, PPI Awards and Editor of PPI Magazine.
TheConference will focus on global and regional issues of interest to pulp and paper industry leaders. At the conference, high level speakers representing leading producers worldwide, major brand owners and advertising agencies will deliver unique and detailed
presentations and participate in discussions on the industry. RISI economists will also present key insights into the current market along with valuable forecasting.
The 2013 PPI Awards program honours leadership, vision, innovation and strategic accomplishments within the pulp and paper industry. The Awards are the only global honours dedicated to recognizing the achievements of companies, mills and individuals in the pulp and paper sector.
