In what can be termed as a gesture of charity, a printing press with full equipment and production facility was put on sale for charity purpose. The owners of the press will be using the sales proceeds for various charity activities and programs.
Al Arab newspaper quoting Mohammed Lahdan Al Mohannadi, the manager of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments said that it was a unique charity gesture, and the first of its kind ever made in Qatar. He expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for this gesture, and explained that the management of the Endowment authority has documented the charity proceedings and will do the necessary measures.
