Printing Authorities Trains at Print Media Academy Cairo
Print Media Academy Cairo (PMAC) concluded the training course for members of The Omani National Survey Authority. The 3 weeks course was held between April 21 and May 9, 2013.
Practice-oriented training program provided the 5 member team with know-how and knowledge for day-to-day work. The training contents include

– Printing Machines structural design “Technical Session”
– Printing Machines Units
– Raw Materials
– Plates Design & Plates Processing
– CTP system “computer to plate directly”
– Printed Copies Problems
– Colour management
– Quality Assurance in Printing Process
The course was conducted by four instructors including Dr. Hanan Abdou, Dr. George Nubar Simonian, Dr. Tamer Mahmud, and Eng. Ahmad Alaa, each specializing in a particular module.
“The training was very effective as far as methodology, experience of trainers, simulation program are concerned. I was particularly impresses with hands on the latest Heidelberg CTP machine and Speedmaster SX 52,” says Sultan Bin Seif Printing Technician Officer.
