Canon Middle East has expanded its partnership with MFI International Group for the distribution of Canon products, after sales services and MPS solutions in East Africa.
The agreement will span the countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi. With the increased demand for imaging innovation and connectivity, MFI International Group will focus on the distribution of Canon’s Office BW/Colour – advanced office range, professional print, professional scanners and large format printers products while providing after sales services and Managed Print Services and solutions to increase productivity.
MFI International Group was established in 1984 and is represented in over 14 countries. The company has seen rapid growth with over 3,500 enterprise and mid-market customers across Africa.
Canon Middle East also announced a new partnership with Forefront Technologies that will cover the UAE, Qatar and Oman.
The agreement is part of Canon’s focus on growing its offering in document imaging management systems (DIMS) in the region while also expanding business channels.
Forefront Technologies is a major IT distribution operation that concentrates on document imaging hardware, storage systems and solutions in the region. Established in 1995, the company has grown with over 500 partners and a network of system integrators, value-added resellers and distribution partners covering more than 20 countries throughout the MEA.
