FINISHING INNOVATION at Print4All

Finishing Innovation at the Heart of Print4All

Meeting the needs of the packaging market with flexible solutions that safeguard margins can be challenging: Today, the market demands ever shorter print runs and ever faster delivery times. To cope with the increase in job changeovers and the resulting unproductive time between jobs, which puts margins at risk, many of the companies exhibiting at Print4All that operate in the finishing industry are investing in new technologies.

Digital finishing and laser cutting solutions provider SEI Laser will focus on innovation in the corrugated sector, and is in fact among the companies involved in the Corrugated Experience project. Marco Capoferri, Head of Product & Business Development, comments, “Our participation in Corrugated Experience at Print4All (where we also have a stand displaying our latest laser finishing technologies for labels, converting and flexible packaging) is aimed at introducing the market to the X-Wave Converting line, which is capable of achieving productivity hitherto unthinkable for a single finishing line exclusively for corrugated board, and showing the market the digital production of corrugated board from a different perspective.”

Grafimec, a leading company in the graphic arts sector, is another player with an unstoppable mission to innovate and promote quality in the graphic arts industry. At Print4All 2025, the company will have the opportunity to relaunch the recently acquired Bizzozero brand and present its wire staplers to an international audience. At the Grafimec stand, visitors will have the opportunity to discover in person the staplers by Bizzozero and some of the most advanced paper cutters in the line.

General Systemgraf, a benchmark company in the field of post-printing processing and finishing solutions for paper products, will be present at the exhibition with a selection of machinery designed to meet the needs of graphics and printing professionals. A complete Horizon line for collating, stitching, folding, and cutting will be on display at the stand. There will also be creasing machines, leaflet folding solutions, and laminating machines on display. These machines are characterised by precision, speed, and versatility: a strategic choice for those who want to stand out in the finishing of printed products.

Tosingraf, a leader in digital print finishing solutions, will offer visitors to the exhibition a wide range of consumables, machines, and advanced technologies to meet the needs of all types of customers, from small to large format. With its long experience in the industry, Tosingraf represents the top international brands, guaranteeing quality, reliability and innovation, but also offers its own MAMO brand, proposing finishing systems to meet the demands of copy shops, print shops, and digital printing centres.

Italian Association of Cardboard Packaging

Italian Association of Cardboard Packaging Producers to Participate in Corrugated Experience

The events schedule at Print4All is increasingly rich, and the initiatives dedicated to corrugated cardboard are no exception.

The Italian Association of Cardboard Packaging Producers (AIS), a point of reference for companies operating in Italy that transform corrugated cardboard into packaging for all types of markets, has enthusiastically announced its participation in Corrugated Experience: an unmissable opportunity for industry professionals to discover the latest news, discuss challenges, and seize the opportunities of a constantly evolving market.

In this dynamic context, the association will serve as a key point of reference, offering opportunities for insight and discussion through two important conferences. Day one (27 May, 2.30 pm) will see the presentation of the new manual ‘Corrugated cardboard packaging. General information and production aspects – technical and commercial guidelines’. This tool, presented by AIS President Andrea Mecarozzi, and board member Riccardo Cavicchioli, was the result of a collaboration between AIS, industry experts, and select customers, with the aim of raising the culture of the sector, facilitating communication with customers, and defining the best practices for the growth of box manufacturers.

On day two (28 May), at 3 pm, the results of an in-depth internal investigation of box manufacturers conducted by AIS will be presented by President Mecarozzi and Vice President Giorgio Bramezza. The aim of the intervention ‘Italian Box Manufacturers in 2024: Challenges and Opportunities for the Future’ is to provide an updated snapshot of the industry’s state of health and analyse future prospects, offering crucial ideas for addressing the challenges and seizing the opportunities of the market.
