The 17th edition of Sign and Graphic Imaging Middle East exhibition coincides with Christmas holidays across the world. Nevertheless all the major players and international exhibitors are participating with full force. From large format to textile printers to media and accessories SGI has something to offer for everyone. Here’s a roundup:

HP- It’s all about the latex and solutions

HP will be showcasing a complete portfolio of indoor and outdoor large format printers during SGI. Ernest Azzam HP’s LFP business manager for MEMA region says,” within our indoor LFP portfolio we will showcase HP Designjet Z6200 and the newly launched HP Designjet Z5400.


Canon-The integration is complete

Canon Middle East will have a 192 square meter stand in SGI which is bigger than last year. The reason for a bigger stand is obvious. 



Agfa- Wide format plus workflow

Agfa Graphics’ systems for indoor and outdoor digital printing are suitable for production of displays, point-of-purchase materials, billboards, vehicle graphics and backlight signage up to 100 inches wide.


Digi Matrix- Robot anyone?

DigiMatrix is a major supplier of indoor/ outdoor printers and CNC routers, cutting equipment and accessories for signage industry. During SGI 2014 the company will be showcasing for the first time in the Middle East, Africa and CIC countries an all new robotic solution, DigiRob.


Signtrade: A host of Familiar and new Mimaki printers

Signtrade has the whole hall 5 all to itself. The company is taking over of more than 1600 square meter of exhibition space, 950 square meter of which is company’s built up area. The company will showcase a wide range of Mimaki printers including 3 new models which will be launched for the first time.


Fujifilm- UV inkjet technology with a retail-inspired stand

Fujifilm will be Highlighting the importance of print applications. The stand will create the impression of a high quality retail space, showcasing print in the type of environment it is designed for.


OKI- New printer, new revenue stream

OKI Europe are showcasing the industry’s first 5 colour, A3 digital LED printer, the ES9541, at SGI 2014 in Dubai, UAE. Targeted at the specialist graphic arts market, the ES9541 offers e spot colour in white or clear gloss, at a competitive price point, for short-run, digital, print-on-demand performance.


Copatra Graphics- The soft approach

Copatra Graphic with its headquarter in Riyadh is a major supplier of graphic arts equipment in Saudi Arabia the company will be focusing on soft signage sector during SGI.


ITC- Cutting edges 

The Middle East agents for Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC), ADS Advertising Material, will be introducing ITC’s new cutting tool to the Middle East marketplace.
