Next Print Pack Arabia Is Scheduled For February 2016

The inaugural Print Pack Arabia 2014 was held from April 7 to 10, 2014 at Expo Centre Sharjah. The show offered an opportunity for manufacturers and distributors from several countries to tap into the growing potential of the regional printing and packaging industry.

Held jointly by Expo Centre Sharjah and the Indian Printing, Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA), the apex body of printing, packaging and allied industries in India, Print Pack Arabia featured 88 exhibitors, apart from two special pavilions from India and China and a knowledge-sharing platform through the Technical Seminars.

“Despite being the launch edition, the show offered competitive prices and top-quality services from a wide range of regional and international distributors and manufacturers, besides unmatched networking and partnership opportunities,” said Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah.

It was held alongside the 2nd Plastivision Arabia, 2nd Arabia Mold and 5th International Conference for Plastics Conversion. “Together, the shows became a key multi-industry event that targeted the plastics, mold-making, printing and packaging industries, generating unprecedented visitor interest from the region and beyond,” said Midfa.

The shows, during their four-day run, featured over 250 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, occupying 14,000 sq m of exhibition space. The number of visitors stood at 7,277 visitors from 77 countries.

“The regional economies are sitting on strong fundamentals, and since the printing & packing industry is interrelated with all industrial sectors, it will continue to grow with them. In this scenario, we can see our customers modernising their machinery and equipment to catch up with market requirements,” Vinay Krishnan, General Manager, AFRA International FZC, which took part in the inaugural Print Pack Arabia.

Next Print Pack Arabia will be held between 22 and 25 February, 2016 at Expo Centre Sharjah.
