National Postal Authority To Print Bank Statements
Egypt’s Post Printing House in Nasr City recently embarked on a massive project to provide printing services to big Egyptian banks. Using a range of Océ digital presses including Océ 6250, Océ 3110, Océ 900 and Océ 700 the print house will produce statements and other transactional documents and invoices for financial institutions. CIB and Bank of Cairo already signed up for the services.
“The new project will offer us the opportunity to leverage the potential of our modern facility and state-of-the-art printing equipment,” Explains Dr. Ashraf Jamal El Din, Chairman of the Egypt’s National Postal Authority.
He also said that the Post Printing House has already been providing printing services to the Ministry of Finance and now plans to cater to the private sector. However in order to attract more printing orders from private sector the print house is embarking on an aggressive marketing campaign as well as slashing prices.
Egypt Post established its digital printing operation in February 2008 in a new 1200 square meters building. The premises were built according to the highest European standards. Other than a wide range of Océ products the facility boasts high end finishing and delivery systems.
