MICE Award of Honour for Prof. Kamal Chopra

In a gala function marking the 4th-edition of The MICE Conference Expo & Awards held on 18 June, 2022, at hotel Le Meridian New Delhi in India’s capital city, President of the World Print & Communication Forum (WPCF) Prof. Kamal Chopra was given the Award of Honour in recognition of his services towards the printing industry and trade.

The annual conference organised by the Mice Affairs Media Group, an events and meetings industry company and media house, brought together over 140 key stakeholders from the MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference & Exhibition) industry besides notable industry experts and association leaders from Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, and Thailand. Dr. Janis Darbari, honorary consul general of Montenegro in India was the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion while conferring the award of honour, founder and CEO of MICE Affairs Sachin Manocha says, “Prof. Chopra is a clear example of what one can achieve with determination, sincerity, and hard work. His devotion to empower printers; upgrade printing technologies through education, research, and training; share information and knowledge and network with fellow printers; organise print travels, print awareness camps, and local area print training hubs, where print entrepreneurs coach the youth; organise technical conferences and arrange academic interactions among printing institutions; and signing of memorandum of understanding between Indian universities engaged in printing courses and global printing and communication institutions, including visits to campuses abroad are his significant and unique contributions to the profession.”

In recognition of his services towards the printing industry, the Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, China, has designated Prof. Chopra as an honorary professor at the world’s largest printing university.
