Iraq’s Al-Qamar Invests in Third Gallus Labelmaster 440

Iraq’s Al-Qamar Printing & Marketing Co., Ltd. – a certified provider of printing, packaging, branding, and marketing solutions – has invested in a new Gallus Labelmaster 440. This marks their third installation of the Labelmaster 440 in just three years – a testament to the growth driven by the Gallus concept.

Before adopting the Gallus Labelmaster 440, the Karbala-based company faced challenges in meeting the increasing demand for high-volume, high-quality labels across industries such as food and beverages, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Issues like material waste, lengthy setup times, and limited capacity hindered their ability to scale and optimise operations.

The Gallus Labelmaster 440 is a high-speed, flexible label printing press known for its modularity, high print quality up to 200 m/min, and the ability to handle multiple printing methods – such as flexo, hot foil, and screen – on a single platform. It is designed for a wide range of label types and packaging applications, offering cost-effective solutions with quick job changes and low substrate waste due to its short web path. The flexographic press is available in basic and advanced versions, providing options for different levels of process variability and automation.
