Finance Ministry Gives Young Saudis a Fillip in Printing

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance, represented by the Government Printing Press, has announced the launch of the fifth edition of the Distinguished Personnel Qualification Programme.
The initiative seeks to empower recent graduates with training, developing their technical skills, and providing them with the necessary knowledge to enhance their job performance to meet the needs of the ministry and raise the level of job readiness of specialised cadres.
The programme aims to qualify distinguished national talents who have graduated not more than four years ago and holds a diploma in the specified technical field. This is achieved by enrolling them in specialised training courses, in addition to on-the-job training for a period of 12 months, before absorbing them as employees. The successful completion of the programme will grant them with two additional grades above their due rank, providing fruitful opportunities and refining their experiences in a short period of time.
The ministry will receive applications from 22 June 2025. The ministry clarified that only Saudi nationals holding a diploma of at least two years specialising in either offset printing, digital printing, or printing press maintenance can register for the programme.
The ministry also stipulates that the graduates must attain a score of at least 4.5 in IELTS or equivalent exams. The applicants must also pass assessment tests, personal interviews, and medical examinations.
The programme is an extension of the Saudi finance ministry’s effort to qualify local talent with a productive and stimulating work environment, enabling technical competencies to contribute to performance efficiency.
The initiative is in line with the goals of Vision 2030 to build a prosperous economy based on knowledge and specialisation, and providing quality opportunities for young Saudi nationals.
