
Two-day course designed for flexo presses and those planning to enter the growing sector; several key topics related to flexographic printing to be covered
The Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) will be organising a two-day training course titled ‘Flexographic printing professionalism is one of the basics for practical application’. The training programme will be conducted at the Chamber’s headquarters in Alexandria on 30-31 July 2025.
The course is being conducted for owners of flexo printing presses and for those who are planning to enter this growing sector. “The training course is designed for a target audience comprising of flexo press owners, production and quality managers and supervisors, offset printers seeking to integrate flexographic printing into their existing operations, and investors in food and pharmaceutical packaging,” says Nadim Elias, Chairman, Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries.
The course will incorporate several key topics related to flexographic printing, including a practical introduction to flexo technology; the difference between flexo machines, types of systems, and inks; professional prepress management; and how to reduce waste, optimise production lines, and increase productivity. The training will also include discussions on practical cases.
Flexographic printing is a versatile and widely-used technique, particularly in packaging and labelling, due to its adaptability, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
