The UAE bid farewell to Dr Abdullah Omran Taryam, a beacon of the national, Gulf and Arab press.
Taryan passed away on Thursday. Funeral prayers were held at the King Faisal Mosque, and he was at buried in the Jubail cemetery in Sharjah.
His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, were among those who offered funeral prayers and took part in the burial ceremony.
The ceremony was also attended by Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Shaikh Rashid Bin Saud Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, and Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth, and Community Development.
The funeral was also attended by a number of Shaikhs, senior officials, and dignitaries.
