Saga Digital, EFI’s representative in the region announced the installation of a R3225 EFI wide format printer in ColorMix, Dubai. ColorMix is a printer based in Dubai and a Vutek customer. In 2005 the company purchased its first Vutek 3360SC printer and has now decided to go for a new R3225. According to EFI, the R3225 is a sturdy platform similar to its sibling models from EFI Vutek. The company says that it has a sturdy construction, giving the feel of a much pricier printer, with a remarkable output, while using CMYK ink-set.

ColorMix is adopting a green approach and is keen to use UV inks. That’s why the R3225 which uses UV ink is a natural choice for the company. UV inks in general emit low VOCs while using less energy and generate less heat. The printer can do signage, banners, POP as well as fleet graphics.
