Al Bony Printing Press Invests in Heidelberg Speedmaster
Al Bony Printing Press in Sharjah recently installed an all new two colour Heidelberg SM 52-2 press as part of the company’s expansion plan. Al Bony already has a fleet of Heidelberg equipment including GTO’s and Printmasters as well as Polar cutting machines. The contract to buy the machine was signed in July 2012.
Founded in 1994, Al Bony Printing employs 30 people. The company has been growing steadily and is capable of handling high quality commercial printing jobs including business cards, brochures, books, flyers, magazines and so on.
Commenting on the new purchase, Babu Varghese, Managing Director of the company told ‘ME Printer’ that the new press enhances the company’s ability to offer high quality printed material to its wide range of customers and responds to their demand for shorter delivery time. “ Our performance during last year was very good. We hardly felt the negative impact of the recession. We are a customer oriented company and we always use the best equipment and material to meet our customers’ demands.”
Varghese also said that Heidelberg has always been their first choice because of the quality of service during, before and after the purchase and commissioning of the press. “We can always rely on Heidelberg when it comes to fast delivery of spare part and technical consultation.”
The Speedmaster SM 52 is targeted at small and medium-sized commercial print shops. The Speedmaster SM 52 now boasts an extended range of standard features geared specifically to the needs of these print shops.
The feeder in Speedmaster SM features suction tape which optimizes sheet transport and the Prinect Easy Control colour measuring system, which is fully integrated into the machine control station, reduces paper waste levels.
