“Printing solutions are important to the education sector, yet they can have a significant impact on budgets. Excess printing incurs huge costs on educational and academic institutions in both hidden and explicit ways. To reduce overall printing costs and enhance productivity, many schools are re-thinking their printing strategies,” said Naoshi Yamada, Deputy Managing Director, Canon Middle East .
“Excessive colour printing, inefficient processes and personal copying can slowly drain resources, resulting in phenomenal costs, every academic year. This is where we believe Canon products and business solutions can add real value and help institutions become more productive and financially efficient given the growing printing and document management requirements,” added Yamada.
Educational institutions in the region are constantly looking for new solutions to accomplish meaningful paper and ink-usage, while saving energy and operational costs. Phenomenal amounts are spent by schools on equipment lease, paper consumption and printing costs each academic year. Working closely with Canon , the education industry in the region will be able to significantly reduce expenditures associated with printing materials, energy consumption and printer running costs. Canon technology can make printing more cost effective, eco-friendly, secure and convenient not only for students but for faculty and staff as well.
“We are pleased to have yet another successful Insight Live event in Dubai, this time specifically targeting stakeholders of the education sector. These seminars are insightful as they facilitate direct interaction with our customers and help us understand their business needs.
