Canon Middle East has recently launched 13 new products during “Canon for Business” event held in Dubai marina’s address hotel. Prior to Fespa Digital in May the company also held its Canon for Business Event in Poing, Germany inviting business partners and journalists from around the world.
The ‘Canon for Business’ launch event provided a platform for the company to highlight its B2B regional strategy and showcase its range of products catered to the evolving needs of regional industries including banking, hospitality, education and graphic arts.
“The business-to-business division is targeting exponential growth over the coming years and the ‘Canon for Business’ launch event is a very important milestone in that journey. Through this launch event we are making a bold statement of our focus, direction and also reiterate our commitment to the B2B market in the region. This will provide the foundations for growth that we have built into our plans for the coming years,” said Naoshi Yamada, Deputy Managing Director, Canon Middle East.
During the event various stakeholders were shown how the full portfolio of Canon’s print solutions, services and value-added support, can help them grow their businesses. Onsite product demonstrations enabled attendees to experience the product benefits and also fully understand how it would enable them to grow their printing business.

Canon Middle East launched a new colour production cut-sheet press, the imagePRESS C800 series. Attendees of the event were also briefed on the Océ Arizona 6100 series, an entirely new Arizona series printer platform designed for sign and display print service providers.
The Océ Arizona 6100 caters to a new group of customers who require high-volume rigid media printing capacity. Designed as a dedicated flatbed system, the series features an extra-large 2.5m x 3.05m vacuum table to keep media and objects stationary during printing for optimal print quality and rigid media application versatility. Other technology introduced during the event included two new 6-colour large format printers including imagePROGRAF iPF6400SE and iPF8400SE designed to focus on the features that are essential for the in-house production of posters with lower total cost of ownership were showcased at the event. Canon also showcased four different imageFORMULA scanning solutions including DRM 160, DRM 1060, DRC 225 and P 215 II.
Among the models introduced included Canon’s DR-M1060, the smallest A3 scanner with a unique U-turn path.
