Egypt’s El Ahram Company for Printing & Packaging has announced the successful handover of its headquarters and factory, marking the cessation of all procedures regarding the sale of its seized machinery.
According to the company’s disclosure published on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, the development follows an approval by the Alexandria Economic Court’s litigation unit regarding an installment payment plan for the company’s remaining due taxes, with the initial installment already settled.
Upon completion of the handover, the successful bidder, the court-appointed custodian, and accompanying officials departed the premises. Following the transition, El Ahram’s Board of Directors has formed an inventory committee to evaluate all assets at the headquarters and factory to determine their current condition and assess any potential shortages, damage, or destruction.
El Ahram engages in the production and manufacture of printing and packaging materials, with products including card board, paper, plastic, and multi-layered packaging and printed materials used for food, home care, medical care, and pesticides packaging.
