The Messe Düsseldorf management team led by Sabine Geldermann, Director drupa, Portfolio Print Technologies, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, hosted participants from Egypt on Egyptian Welcome Day at drupa 2024. The special event, held this Wednesday (29 May), was dedicated to welcoming exhibitors, company representatives, and visitors from Egypt attending drupa 2024, and recognizing Egypt’s outstanding contributions to the print and media industry.
12 companies from Egypt are participating in this year’s drupa, including Al Baraka Paper Converting Co., Al Burhan Manufacturing & Trading Co., Al-Husein International Ltd, Baalbaki Egypt for Chemical Industries S.A.E, Cellupaper for Industry (CPI), Eagle Polymers Yasser Wadie Bishay, Egital Inks JSC, Elshark Factory for Rubber Rolls Kamal Dorgham Sons Corporate, Gazelle Envelopes, HTM for Paper Manufacturing and Converting Corp., and Misr Italia. Many of them are co-exhibiting with major companies, sharing booth space.
The day featured insightful discussions, invaluable networking opportunities, and a vibrant cultural exchange. Egyptian professionals also had the opportunity to showcase their innovation and creativity on a global stage.
Dating back to 2008, this special occasion is co-organised by the drupa administration along with the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC), the Egyptian Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries, and the Arab print media.
Geldermann was joined by Dr. Andreas Pleßke, Chairman of the drupa committee, representatives of the Egyptian Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries, as well as some of the Egyptian exhibitors for delivering short welcome notes.
