The Fastmarkets Forest Products PPI Awards 2024 will take place in Türkiye’s picturesque capital city Istanbul. The global awards dedicated to recognizing the achievements of companies, mills, and individuals in the pulp and paper sector will be held at the luxurious Intercontinental Istanbul on 5 March, 2024.
Into its 15th year, the prestigious platform brings together the brightest and best in the industry, honouring their leadership, vision, innovation, and strategic accomplishments in the past year.
The awards are divided into eight categories: International CEO of the Year Award 2024, Risk & Safety Award 2024, Sustainability Leadership Award 2024, Digital Innovation Award 2024, Industry Woman of the Year Award 2024, Product Innovation Award 2024, Green Energy and Biofuels Award 2024, and Mill Manager of the Year Award 2024. Each category will be judged by an industry-leading panel of experts, together with Fastmarkets Forest Products analysts and editors against rigorous criteria.
Egypt’s Middle East Paper Company (MEPCO) and UAE’s Al Nakheel Hygienic Paper Manufacturing are among the 2024 nominees from the MENA region.
PPI Awards 2024 is part of the Fastmakets Forest Products Europe Conference to be held from 4-6 March, 2024, in Istanbul. With the forest products industry going through unprecedented times, this year’s event will solve a plethora of vital questions including how has the industry adapted to this new environment, what the future holds in a fundamentally changed world, and where does sustainability fit in this changed landscape.
