Digital printing committee in Egypt’s Chamber of Printing and Packaging industries is organizing a seminar on Future of digital printing on March 13. A roundtable on how to implement a successful digital printing project is also part of the seminar’s programme. The event will be held at Federation of Egyptian Industries headquarter in Cairo.
The keynote speakers are Khaled Abdo, head of printing chamber and Salam Annani board member and head of digital printing committee. Following the keynote speeches a roundtable with the participation of digital printing suppliers as well as members of digital printing committee will take place. A number of issues related to digital printing including applications, finishing solutions, marketing challenges, supplies, training, available technologies and a host of other topics will be discussed.
Following the roundtable discussion May Khairy head of trade fairs department in German – Arab Chamber of Commerce will offer a presentation on Interpack and Drupa trade fairs.
Other speakers of the event are Doctor Gorge Nubar Simonian, member of Egypt’s Chamber of printing and Vice Dean for Post Graduate Studies and Research at Faculty of Applied Arts in Helwan University and Saad Mohay El Din head of credit department in Al Ahli Bank of Egypt. Dr. Simonian will talk about the latest digital technologies to be displayed at Ipex 2014 and Mohay El Din will present information on how to procure investment funds for purchasing digital printing equipment.
A raffle draw will wrap up the event and winners will receive prizes from event’s sponsors which include Xerox, Canon, Heidelberg and Ashmand.a
