AFRA International to Launch Etirama Open House V2.0
Dubai-based AFRA International DMCC, MEA’s leading printing and packaging equipment solution provider, will organize the Etirama Open House V2.0 from 30 May to 14 June, 2022, at the AFRA Demo Center at Dubai’s Al Qusais Industrial Area-4, where converters and label printers can spend time on seeking the right equipment offering desired solutions. The event also looks forward to draw in businesses from packaging printers, commercial printers, and new entrepreneurs.
This year’s event follows the successful completion of Etirama Open House V1.0 which had over 30 exclusive VIP demo sessions besides around 20 in the virtual mode for those not able to attend due to the pandemic-related global travel restrictions.
The highlight will be the live demo of AFRA’s flagship Etirama SPS2 8-colour press – a versatile servo-driven flexo label press – with multiple converting stations with all embellishments and ROI-guaranteed solutions.
Brazil-based Etirama is a globally renowned flexo press manufacturing company for tags and labels with a history of over 70 years. Etirama SPS2 provides impressive print quality, combined with high productivity and economical set-up; perfect register stability at any speed, with remote Internet technical service. The press is deemed to be a game changer and a right solution for the market with its economic cost per hour without compromising on the print quality.
Etirama SPS2 press also comes with UV drying systems, hot air dryers with temperature control, up to 10 print stations, plus features such as cold stamping, UV lamination, and many other options.
With commercial, promotional, and retail printing on the decline, Print Service Providers (PSPs) are now moving to flexo and packaging segments. With the pandemic already adding to the misery of an already declining promotional and retail printing market which saw a growing interest among conventional printers towards label industry, AFRA International bridged the gap by providing an affordable automated ROI-guaranteed solution for the industry. “Our strength is that we can turn commercial print businesses into label providers at affordable costs,” says Mohammed Riyaz, Assistant General Manager at AFRA International DMCC.
While the label industry and its requirements in the region are mushrooming, especially the short and medium label segments, as well as the narrow web presses, the biggest issue relating to the MEA label industry is that label converters are not able to get their desired returns. In this context AFRA’s introduction of the new product from the South American manufacturer provides a timely solution.
“By bringing the Etirama SPS2, we are bringing in technologically superior equipment under our strategy – Looking beyond China,” says Riyaz.
