Shorouk Packaging’s Profits Rise in 2021

Egypt-based Shorouk for Modern Printing and Packaging SAE announced its financial results for the first nine months of the current year 2021, showing a 11% rise in consolidated profit, recording a net profit of 156.25 million Egyptian pounds beginning January to September, 2021, compared to 140.73 million pounds during the same period last year.

In comparison the company registered a H1 net profit of 85.33 million pounds this year, compared to 82.95 million pounds during the same period last year.

As per the financial indicators sent to the Egyptian Exchange, the company’s net sales rose during the nine months to record 1.47 billion pounds at the end of September 2021, compared to 1.21 billion pounds during the same period the previous year.

The company’s H1 net sales rose this year to record 912.86 million pounds as compared to 785.67 million pounds for the same period in 2020.

Established in 1979 as a private printing press, Shorouk for Modern Printing and Packaging SAE has grown into a large public shareholding company in printing and packaging with a large client base in Egypt and the Middle East. Located in the city of El Obour in Lower Egypt’s Qalyubia Governorate, the company specializes in large volume book and magazine printing, besides manufacture of corrugated boxes and packing cartons.
