Kenya: “Konica Minolta On The Move” Campaign Launched

Konica Minolta, one of the major digital printing manufacturers in the world is planning to grab a substantial market share in Kenya. The recent developments in Kenya’s infrastructure makes it a hot business destination for equipment manufacturer.

The company recently launched On the Move campaign at the Pride Inn Hotel in Nairobi during which a number of busses were used to highlight Konica Minolta’s office and production printing solutions. Buses decorated with bus wraps travelled on key routes in Nairobi fully branded with Konica Minolta’s office and production printing solutions as the company prepares to launch new products this year.

Speaking at the launch, visiting business support manager for East African countries Paul Tihn said: “The fast expanding business and Information Technology sector offers opportunities for Konica Minolta to provide the market with office equipment that will enhance efficiency and productivity.”

The campaign is in partnership with some PSV operators and Konica Minolta’s local partners Express Automation, and is the first of its kind for Konica Minolta globally and also the largest full bus wrap project ever undertaken in Kenya.

During the event which took place on 24th of April 15 busses featured two of the product ranges of Konica Minolta – Office Printing Solutions and Production Printing Solutions – in a full bus wrap.

The campaign “Konica Minolta on the Move is conducted together with the local Konica Minolta partner, Express Automation, in order to raise brand awareness and to change the perception of the Konica Minolta brand.

Local based company, Tria – Transit Media, was responsible for the execution of the full vehicle wrap on all vehicles.

The campaign was launched with a convoy from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport towards Kencom, followed by a press tour.
