Epson’s Cartridge-free Printers for Moroccan Schools

Epson Europe has announced that it intends to expand its initiatives to support education in Morocco. The global technology leader in partnership with the Ministry of National Education will support schools in the Kingdom by donating Epson’s cartridge-free EcoTank printers.

Under the slogan “Just fill and chill,” Epson has managed to rope in the iconic Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man who is widely considered to be the greatest sprinter of all time, as its new brand ambassador of a major awareness-building campaign for its cartridge-free printers.

“Usain Bolt is known for his exceptional athletic performance and is the fastest man in the world with eight Olympic gold medals, which is why this legendary champion was commissioned to carry out this large-scale advertising campaign which will cover billboards, online website banners, and point-of-sale throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region,” explains a company source.

EcoTank printers come with high yield ink bottles instead of cartridges. One set of ink bottles is equivalent of up to 72 cartridges worth of ink, thereby enabling a hassle-free printing at an ultra-low-cost per page.
