drupa 2024 Celebrates Egyptian Day on 29th May

Düsseldorf will be hosting drupa 2024, recognised as the biggest printing technology event in the world. The 11-day extravaganza, from 28 May to 7 June, 2024, not only gathers the best and the most innovative global printing technologies, but also doubles up as a platform for communication and cooperation of the printing industry around the world.

drupa 2024 will celebrate the traditional Egyptian Day on 29 May from 11 am. Dating back to 2008, this special occasion co-organised by the drupa administration along with the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC), the Egyptian Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries, and the Arab print media, will see exhibitors, company representatives, and visitors from Egypt meet members of drupa administration.

12 companies from Egypt will be participating in the mega event. These include Al Baraka Paper Converting Co., Al Burhan Manufacturing & Trading Co., Al-Husein International Ltd, Baalbaki Egypt for Chemical Industries S.A.E, Cellupaper for Industry (CPI), Eagle Polymers Yasser Wadie Bishay, Egital Inks JSC, Elshark Factory for Rubber Rolls Kamal Dorgham Sons Corporate, Gazelle Envelopes, HTM for Paper Manufacturing and Converting Corp., and Misr Italia. Many of them will be co-exhibiting with major companies, sharing booth space.

Dr. Andreas Pleßke, Chairman of the drupa committee and Sabine Geldermann, Director drupa, Portfolio Print Technologies, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, will be joined by representatives of the Egyptian Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries as well as some of the Egyptian exhibitors for delivering short welcome notes.

Guided tours in Arabic language will provide up-to-date information on the state-of-the-art products, software, workflow solutions, and other related materials that are put up for exhibit by leading companies.
