A Smithers Pira report shares valuable insight into the global printing industry estimating the total market value to grow to $874 billion in 2024. The report which identifies that the global market though still in transition, has great value-adding potential to several vertical industries. The MENA industry which is expected to reach $32 billion by the end of 2019 is expected to perform better than the global markets and is reported to grow at 6.2%.

Trade visitors can view some of the latest in digital display technologies at the show. Digital displays are gaining prominence due to the advent of augmented and virtual reality. UAE’s total retail market size is projected to rapidly grow with retail sales expected to touch $44 billion by 2021.

Textile printing industry players are yet another category to watch. Every year the show witnesses participation from some of the finest players from within the industry. The textile printing equipment manufacturers have a lot to gain from the market in the region and especially UAE with several requirements from organizations right from home furnishing to branding to T-shirt printing. This industry is on a growth path as several African markets are also looking at this sector quite seriously apart from the GCC markets.

Today we are surrounded by some of the other forms of signages, both traditional and digital. This industry has been an integral part of the business ecosystem and will continue to provide invaluable service for years to come. With thousands of visitors registered to visit the show floor for the 3 days, we expect it to be yet another great year for our exhibitors” added Rahman.

LED is surely the next big thing. This technology will play a significant role in bringing down a country’s carbon footprint. This is another multi-billion-dollar industry and if you are associated with this industry, then you should consider participating in this show as we receive several developers, mall owners from the Middle East and Africa,” added Rahman.
